EFGN offers free forums open to anyone with an interest in

hands-on education that entrepreneurs can put to immediate use.

EFGN - N. Idaho (merged with Technet)
promotes local businesses and encourages growth of new
and existing companies in North Idaho. To achieve this goal they hold monthly
meetings and workshops that educate entrepreneurs and the public on how to
accomplish all of the steps necessary to be successful in business. Their
workshops cover business plans, capital funding, networking, sales and

INTEC—Inland NW Technology Education Center
INTEC’s goal is bridge the technology gap between workforce skills and industry needs. By forming industry/education partnerships,
INTEC will deliver competency-based training and education to
provide the skilled workforce area businesses need. It’s focus is in
three areas—technology, biotechnology, and telecommunication.

ISO 9000 is a management system designed to help businesses produce
consistent, high-quality products and services. More and more companies
will only do business with firms that are ISO-registered. And,
registration has become mandatory for many government contracts.

SBIR—Small Business Innovative Research

to match entrepreneurs with investors.
